Join us for church!
Covenant Park Church started back in 2014 as a campus of LakePoint Community Church. Over the years, our name, our size, and our zip code have all shifted around a bit. We’ve gone from meeting in a rented hotel conference room, to worshipping right next door to a laundromat, to finally stepping into our new, purpose-built campus. But through all the moving boxes and transitions, our goal has stayed exactly the same: to bless Morgan County by simply being Jesus’ hands and feet in the community we actually live in.
Whether you grew up sitting in the front row every Sunday or you’re deeply skeptical of organized religion, we believe the best approach is just to meet you exactly where you are. Life is complicated, and regardless of your background, we think everyone could use a little more of God’s love and some genuine fellowship.
We get together on Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00am. When you pull in, our parking team will point you in the right direction so you aren’t guessing where to go. Once you’re inside the lobby, we highly recommend making a beeline for the cafe to grab a donut and a hot cup of coffee. If you have any questions or want to see what’s going on, the folks at the ConnectPoint desk can help you out.
If you’re bringing kids, we have a great setup in the kids wing. You can get them checked in securely with a safety badge before the service. We have “Sprouts” for the youngest ones and “Treehouse” for Kindergarten through 5th grade, giving them a safe place to learn and play while you get an hour to actually breathe.
When you head into the sanctuary, someone will be there to help you find a seat. Our worship time isn’t a performance; it’s just a time to sing together, take a collective breath, and focus on something bigger than ourselves. After that, we’ll pray, take communion, and listen to a message. The teaching here is always a practical talk designed to meet you in the reality of your daily life—leading with grace, landing with truth, and giving you actual, useful takeaways for the week ahead.
When the service wraps up, there is zero pressure. You can stick around to chat with one of our pastors, visit ConnectPoint to learn about small groups, or just quietly sneak out the back to beat the Sunday lunch rush. The choice is entirely yours. And if making it into the building just isn’t happening this week, you can always join us online from the comfort of your couch.
